Job Summary
Prepare loan presentations for the banking team and present recommendations to credit approvers. Manage credit administration processes including annual reviews, trend cards, overdrafts, and problem loan reports while assisting with executing loan documentation and closing transactions. Negotiate with customers alongside the banking team and manage a modest loan portfolio if primary duties allow. Support business development efforts by managing Salesforce prospect lists and activity logs. Identify and provide recommendations for internal process improvements to foster a collaborative culture. Requires strong credit underwriting skills, proficiency in Moody's underwriting and Salesforce, and at least two years of experience in community banking. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- 2+ years of experience in community banking
- Strong credit/analytical skills
- Highly detail oriented
- Highly developed communication skills including the ability to write clear and concise credit correspondence
- Capability to manage various relationships independently and proactively and effectively manage multiple priorities
- Ability to advocate persuasively
- Ability to learn and multitask efficiently
- Proficient with technology including MS Excel, MS outlook, Moody's underwriting, and SalesForce
- At least two years of analyzing, negotiating, and/or structuring loan transactions in a business bank lending environment
- Credit analysis training or experience appropriate for the job requirements
