Job Summary
Associate Banker in the Business Services Discipline collaborates with senior bankers to grow the business profitably, support relationship executives, and advance discipline objectives. Responsibilities include executing operating rhythms (data analysis, report distribution, internal communications), assisting with client/prospect prioritization, staying informed on industry trends to identify partnerships with LOBs, assisting with marketing materials, managing the Salesforce Dashboard to monitor activities, and participating in banker training and business development meetings with clients and prospects, including occasional travel to top markets. Requires 3+ years of direct lending/credit support experience, knowledge of Commercial Banking credit and treasury products, strong communication, collaboration skills, and FINRA licenses (79, 63) or timeline to obtain. Preferred candidates may hold a Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training, with emphasis on creative problem solving and stakeholder relationship management.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of direct lending, credit support, or related experience, with a focus on business relationships
- Understanding of Commercial Banking credit and treasury products
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
- Demonstrated experience in meeting or exceeding goals
- Sales management and business development skills
- FINRA Series 79, 63, and Securities Exam Essentials licenses required or must be obtained within 180 days of hire
- Knowledge of business services business models
- Proficiency in building and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships
- Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferred
