Job Summary
As an Associate Banker, provide exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects, identifying needs and guiding them to appropriate financial solutions. Engage customers in needs-based conversations to discuss personal banking, credit cards, and investment options, while guiding them through digital and self-serve banking tools. Welcome customers in the lobby, collaborate with branch partners to create a seamless customer experience, and contribute to branch business results. Maintain knowledge of personal banking products, comply with regulatory requirements, and support risk management and operational processes. The role involves flexible scheduling across multiple channels and potentially working at multiple branches as market needs evolve, with emphasis on building relationships, referrals, and a personalized customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Typically between 1–2 years of relevant experience and/or certification in related field of study (desirable)
- Registration to sell investment products completed or in progress (Canada only)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team
- Ability to identify customer needs and provide consultative advice
