Job Summary
Delivers exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects by welcoming clients in the lobby, guiding them through digital options, and recommending alternative banking channels. Identifies customer needs to provide advice on financial solutions, credit cards, and everyday banking plans while integrating marketing promotions into conversations. Collaborates with partners to identify referral opportunities and supports operational activities including inventory management and escalated service requests. Probes to understand personal banking and credit card needs, reviews customer profiles, and reports suspicious patterns related to money laundering. Follows risk and compliance processes to safeguard assets and maintains current knowledge of personal banking products and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Typically between 1 – 2 years of relevant experience
- Registration to sell investment products completed or in progress (must be completed within 12 months)
- Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, Smart phones, online tools, and applications
- Some experience in a consultative customer service or sales roles
- Drive to deliver a personal customer experience
- Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions
- Passionate commitment to helping customers
- A focus on results and the ability to thrive in a consultative sales and team-based environment
- Resourceful self-starter with courage and confidence to approach customers
- Readiness to collaborate and work in different capacities as part of a team
