Job Summary
As an Associate Banker, you will deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects, identify customer needs, and advise on financial solutions that best serve them. You will welcome and guide customers in the branch lobby, discuss banking channels and digital/self-serve options, and engage in needs-based conversations to address everyday banking plans and credit card needs. You’ll collaborate with branch teammates and BMO partners to generate referral opportunities and expand the customer relationship beyond personal banking, while contributing to branch business results, risk and compliance adherence, and a high-quality customer experience. You’ll organize information for accuracy and completeness, explore creative approaches to personalize each customer’s experience, and support operations and cross-functional initiatives as part of a versatile branch team. You may work across multiple branches or channels, and scheduling may vary week-to-week to meet market needs.
Required Qualifications
- Typically between 1 – 2 years of relevant experience and/or certification in related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Canada only: Registration to sell investment products completed or in progress (must be completed within 12 months) - as appropriate for the jurisdiction.
- Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, Smart phones, online tools, and applications.
- Some experience in a consultative customer service or sales roles, with a drive to deliver a personal customer experience.
