Job Summary
Delivers exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects by identifying needs and providing advice on financial solutions. Welcomes clients in the branch lobby, guides them through digital options, and recommends alternative banking channels. Collaborates with partners to identify referral opportunities and reviews customer profiles to address everyday banking plans and credit card needs. Supports operational activities including inventory management, filing, and following up on applications. Probes to understand personal banking and credit card needs, integrating marketing promotions into conversations to provide strategic advice. Follows risk and compliance processes to safeguard customer assets and identify suspicious activity related to money laundering. Maintains current knowledge of personal banking products and legal requirements while completing complex tasks within approved rules.
Required Qualifications
- Registration to sell investment products completed or in progress (must be completed within 12 months) - as appropriate for the jurisdiction
- Canada only
- Typically between 1 – 2 years of relevant experience and/or certification in related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience
