Job Summary
Assist clients directly with the installation of integrated audio/visual technologies, including cable terminations, soldering, and mounting. Utilize basic hand tools to support FORTÉ's delivery of systems that power smarter, more connected workplaces across classrooms and control centers. Travel to customer sites to ensure projects are completed with excellent customer service. Requires detail-oriented professionalism, self-directed decision-making, and ability to work independently. OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred; AVIXA CTS certification is an asset. Hourly rate between $23 and $26.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in the service or installation audiovisual, low voltage, security systems, or closely related field
- Previous experience with cable terminations, soldering, and mounting
- Proficiency with basic hand tools
- Ability to work independently, be self-directed and make sound decisions based on customer satisfaction
- Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites
Desired Qualifications
- AVIXA CTS Certification preferred, or ability to complete within your first year of employment
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification preferred, or ability to complete within your first year of employment
- Experience in a construction environment preferred
