Job Summary
Associate, Audit responsibilities include becoming familiar with firm policies and procedures, understanding relevant accounting standards (AICPA, FASB, GAO, GASB, PCAOB), preparing financial statements, performing substantive and analytical auditing procedures, preparing working papers to substantiate conclusions, identifying control deficiencies, assisting in financial statement and footnote preparation, and coaching less experienced staff while working under supervision to manage time within budgets.
Required Qualifications
- Recent college graduates or students in their last year are encouraged to apply
- Zero to three years of experience may include an internship
- No accounting experience required
- Oral and written communication skills in English
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities
- Ability to work well in a team environment
