Job Summary
Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to manage a docket to resolution, prepare for and attend depositions, respond to client inquiries and move matters toward resolution, and provide direction to non-attorneys. The role emphasizes teamwork, positive workplace contributions, and engagement in team events. Candidates should have 3+ years of workers' compensation experience, excellent writing and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and be in good standing with the California State Bar. The position is remote with Bay Area placement and reports to a Senior Associate, supported by paralegals and staff. Doctor deposition experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be licensed to practice law in California (California State Bar in good standing)
- 3+ years of Workers' Compensation experience
- California State Bar membership in good standing required
- Doctors' deposition experience preferred
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reside in Northern California
