Job Summary
Represent clients in workers' compensation cases, including hearings, trials, and appeals. Conduct thorough investigations of claims, gather evidence, and prepare cases for litigation. Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other documents in workers' compensation cases. Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes on behalf of clients. Provide exceptional client service, including regular communication and updates on case progress. Stay up-to-date on changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations. Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to achieve firm goals and objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 3-10 years of experience as an attorney, preferably in workers' compensation law
- Jurisdiction to practice law in the state where the firm is located
- Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and litigation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
