Job Summary

Defend workers' compensation claims against employers across nearly every industry by conducting depositions, investigating cases, reviewing medical records, and drafting motions and briefs. Manage caseloads, meet deadlines, and represent clients in mediations, hearings before the administrative commission, and settlement negotiations. Perform daily legal analysis on new and existing claims, respond to discovery, and build relationships with insurance adjusters, risk managers, and the firm's attorney team. Requires current South Carolina licensure, strong writing and communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Full-time role with remote work capabilities as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently licensed in state of South Carolina
  • Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong writers with deposition and mediation experience preferred
  • Prefer candidates that are organized and self-motivated
