Job Summary
Manage a docket of Wage & Hour Class Action and PAGA matters with support from senior attorneys and litigation staff. Develop case strategies for matters in California state and federal courts, draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and mediation briefs, and conduct legal research to analyze complex factual and legal issues. Take and defend depositions, represent clients at hearings and mediations, and collaborate with attorneys and support staff to move cases toward successful resolution. Communicate with clients regarding case developments and contribute to trial preparation. Requires at least two years of experience in Wage & Hour, PAGA, or Class Action matters, active California State Bar membership, and strong litigation and advocacy skills. Compensation ranges from $140,000 to $275,000 plus incentives.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years of experience handling Wage & Hour, PAGA, or Class Action matters
- Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar
- Strong litigation, legal research, and analytical skills
- Persuasive written and oral advocacy
- Sound judgment and the ability to navigate complex situations
- A high level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
