Job Summary
Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents while conducting legal research and analysis for case strategy. Take and defend depositions, participate in all stages of trial preparation including discovery and witness preparation, and handle court appearances to argue motions as needed. Collaborate with partners and senior associates on complex litigation matters within our nationally recognized mass tort and product liability practice. Assist in developing case strategy and client counseling for major pharmaceutical, medical device, and consumer product manufacturers. This hybrid role in Los Angeles offers hands-on trial experience working alongside an award-winning team on high-stakes cases nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in California
Desired Qualifications
- 4-7 years of experience in mass torts and/or product liability litigation preferred
- Might be willing to consider candidates with experience in other defense litigation practice areas within the 4–7-year range
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Experience drafting motions, taking and defending depositions, and handling discovery
- Trial experience or interest in trial work is a plus
