Job Summary
Conduct toxic tort and products liability litigation from inception to resolution, including legal strategy, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, arguing motions, attending mediations, and trial. Handle various matters involving general liability, wrongful death, premises liability, personal injury, and business disputes while interfacing directly with clients and opposing counsel. Take and defend depositions, manage caseloads independently, and collaborate with experienced partners for mentorship. Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in civil litigation in a law firm environment
- Skilled in conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, propounding and responding to discovery, as well as interfacing directly with clients and opposing counsel
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Current admission to the California State Bar
