Job Summary
Associate Attorney - Real Estate responsibilities include providing high-quality legal services in a fast-paced environment; drafting and reviewing real estate documents (contracts, agreements, closing documents); conducting due diligence (title and survey reports); collaborating with senior attorneys to provide comprehensive services; and staying current on real estate law developments, with a four-plus year transactional real estate background and strong drafting, negotiation, and communication abilities. This role offers the opportunity to work on a range of real estate transactions and build a strong portfolio while joining a dynamic team in Columbus, OH.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor or equivalent professional degree in law
- Bar admission in the state where practicing (Ohio) or eligibility to obtain
- At least four years of transactional real estate experience
- Strong knowledge of real estate law including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and commercial leasing
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and build client relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stay up-to-date on developments in real estate law
