Job Summary
Strategically litigate personal injury cases by working up case files and drafting pleadings, including complaints, motions, and oppositions. Prepare, conduct, and defend depositions while arguing motion and opposition hearings remotely and in court. Draft mediation briefs, attend mediations, and actively participate in negotiating settlements. Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies, manage litigation assistants, and provide guidance to paralegals. Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates and discuss case developments. Prepare pre-trial documents and trial materials in case the case goes to trial.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing
- 1+ years of Personal Injury Attorney experience
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate commitment to client advocacy, integrity, and professionalism
- Excellent research, communication, and negotiation skills
