Job Summary
Represent clients in immigration, criminal defense, traffic, and occasionally family law and personal injury cases. Handle daily court appearances, often virtual, and manage a varied caseload. Conduct client intakes, consultations, and maintain open communication throughout the case. Review and manage discovery, case files, and related documentation. Draft and file legal complaints and obtain necessary records, such as medical documents. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive case handling. Participate in training and development programs to advance your legal expertise. This on-site role in Newark, NJ, offers hands-on experience with mentorship from experienced attorneys.
Required Qualifications
- Active bar license in New Jersey
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Must be available for on-site work five days per week at the Newark, NJ office
