Job Summary
Manage a litigation-driven caseload from inception through resolution by drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda while conducting research on complex factual and legal issues. Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials with increasing responsibility, including taking and defending depositions and participating in mediations and settlement negotiations. Collaborate closely with partners, associates, and legal staff on case strategy, communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel, and maintain organized case files to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Requires active Michigan Bar admission and 2+ years of civil litigation experience. Located in Troy, Michigan, with a hybrid schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active Michigan Bar license or eligibility for prompt admission
