Job Summary
Associate Attorney (Litigation) with 0–4 years of experience in Real Estate Litigation. Manages litigation deadlines, drafts, reviews, and revisions of pleadings (complaints, motions, discovery requests), prepares discovery responses ahead of deadlines, and represents clients in court proceedings, depositions, and mediations. Communicates effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal staff. Maintains a minimum of 155 billable hours per month (1,860 annually). Performs legal research and analysis to support case preparation and collaborates with team members and leadership to achieve department goals.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice in Georgia or Tennessee (licenses in Alabama and/or Mississippi are a plus)
- 0-4 years of litigation experience (preferably in real estate or civil litigation)
