Job Summary
Associate Attorney, Litigation representing mortgage lenders and investor clients in commercial and residential foreclosure, title disputes, and real estate litigation. Responsibilities include appearing in state and federal court for routine and contested hearings, reviewing incoming litigation, developing case strategy, drafting documents, conducting settlement negotiations, managing a docket of contested matters, arguing motions, communicating with clients, and analyzing loan files and title reports. Requires J.D. degree and active Illinois license, strong writing and communication skills, ability to work independently or in a team, and professionalism. No visa sponsorship available; must be authorized to work in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. degree and Illinois Bar in good standing
- Minimum 2 years litigation experience
- Minimum 2 years motion practice experience
- Minimum 2 years courtroom experience
- Knowledge of Illinois Mortgage Foreclosure Law
- Knowledge of Illinois Code of Civil Procedure and Supreme Court Rules
- Experience with foreclosure litigation involving residential and commercial property
Desired Qualifications
