Job Summary
Associate Attorney in Personal Injury to manage a personal injury caseload from inception through resolution, handling complex litigation matters. Responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs; leading written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and participating in case strategy meetings; pre-trial preparation with evidentiary hearings and trial exhibits; negotiating settlements with defense counsel and insurance carriers; maintaining clear, high-touch communication with clients, experts, and support staff; collaborating with senior attorneys on litigation strategy and case development; and representing clients in court including hearings, mediations, and trials. Requires a Texas J.D. and licensure, and 3–5 years of PI litigation experience with strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice in Texas in good standing
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in complex personal injury litigation with a track record of litigation involvement (depositions, hearings, negotiations, trials)
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
- Professional demeanor and commitment to client-centered representation
