Job Summary
Maintain and supervise a diversified caseload of clients in Hawaii while drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and reviewing agreements. Communicate with clients and opposing parties to resolve or settle claims, conducting legal research on contract and consumer law issues. Travel for court appearances despite the remote-based nature of the role, which relies on telephone and electronic communication with the New York headquarters. Requires current admission to the Hawaii bar, at least one year of relevant law firm experience, and superior organizational skills to meet strict deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Currently located in Hawaii
- Currently admitted to practice law in Hawaii
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm
- Superior organizational & time-management skills
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Highest ethical standards and professional integrity
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work easily with senior management and employees at all levels throughout the organization
- Must be willing to travel for in court appearances
- Must be available to communicate with the main office exclusively via telephone and electronic means (e-mail, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
