Job Summary
Manage a diverse caseload from inception through resolution, conducting extensive legal research, drafting briefs and memos, and representing clients in court, arbitrations, and depositions. File review and legal analysis of claims, draft discovery responses, and collaborate with partners on expert witness retention and trial preparation. Maintain ownership of deadlines and assignments while meeting a 1,950-hour annual billable requirement. This Associate Attorney role requires a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and an active license to practice.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in state posted
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in practice group
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Experience with administrative proceedings, depositions, and mediations
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Professional demeanor with strong client-relations and communication skills
- Must be responsive and organized, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
