Job Summary
Manage and support a caseload involving mortgage foreclosure and creditor-side collections matters in Ohio and Kentucky under attorney supervision. Review legal documents, loan files, and supporting records to ensure accuracy, compliance with state and federal laws, and prepare pleadings, motions, correspondence, and affidavits. Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law relevant to creditor rights and foreclosure proceedings. Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, vendors, and internal teams regarding case status. Attend hearings, mediations, and court proceedings as permitted based on experience and case assignment. Monitor case deadlines, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure timely progression of files through the legal process. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to provide efficient legal services.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed to practice law in Ohio
- Licensed to practice law in Kentucky
- Licensed in good standing
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
