Job Summary
Maintain and supervise a diversified caseload of clients in Tennessee while drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and reviewing agreements. Communicate with clients and opposing parties to resolve or settle claims, conducting legal research on contract and consumer law issues. Travel for court appearances despite the remote base, requiring strong organizational skills to meet strict deadlines. Candidates must be admitted to practice in Tennessee with at least one year of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently admitted to practice law in Tennessee
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm
- Must possess superior organizational & time-management skills to meet strict deadlines
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Highest ethical standards and professional integrity
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work easily with senior management and employees at all levels throughout the organization
- Candidates should be located within a reasonable commuting distance to or in Davidson County to be considered for this role
- Must be able to travel for in court appearances
- Must be available to communicate with the main office exclusively via telephone and electronic means (e-mail, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- experience drafting legal documents such as pleadings and legal memoranda
- Strong legal research skills -- proficiency in LexisNexis is a plus
