Job Summary
Associate Attorney in Salt Lake City focused on construction law and litigation, requiring 3-5 years of significant experience in litigation and transactional work within construction law; must be licensed to practice in Utah or be willing to join the Utah Bar (or be a member of another state's Bar). Preference given to candidates with undergraduate background and/or experience in civil engineering, architecture, or construction management; ideal candidates demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, ethical standards, motivation, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Three to five years of significant litigation and transactional experience in construction law
- Licensed to practice law in Utah or willing to become a member of the Utah Bar
- If not currently a member of the Utah Bar, must be a member of the Bar of another state in the U.S.
- Good academic credentials
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards
- Highly motivated and hard-working
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Preference for candidates with an undergraduate degree and/or significant prior work experience in civil engineering, architecture, or construction management
