Job Summary

Handle a variety of litigation matters from inception to resolution, including wrongful death, premises liability, personal injury, construction, and breach of contract disputes. Manage discovery, draft pleadings and motions, argue motions in court, attend mediations, and conduct depositions. Collaborate with partners for mentorship while working independently on caseloads. Requires a J.D. degree, Colorado State Bar admission, and 1–3 years of civil litigation experience. Base salary ranges from $105,000 to $135,000, with a performance-based bonus plan.

Required Qualifications

  • 1 - 3+ years of experience in civil litigation in a law firm environment
  • Comprehensive litigation experience including legal research, drafting motions, managing discovery, as well as interfacing directly with clients and opposing counsel
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Current admission to the Colorado State Bar is required

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience taking and defending depositions, arguing motions and attending mediations, preferred
  • Trial experience is a plus
  • Exceptional communication and advocacy skills along with a client-focused mindset and a passion for achieving successful outcomes
  • Desire and/or ability to manage a caseload independently, while also working collaboratively with team members
