Job Summary
Handle a variety of litigation matters involving wrongful death, premises liability, personal injury, construction, and breach of contract from inception to resolution. Manage every aspect of cases including legal strategy, research, drafting pleadings and motions, discovery, arguing motions, mediations, and trial. Work with diverse clients including individuals, businesses, and organizations while collaborating with experienced partners for mentorship. Requires 1+ years of civil litigation experience, a J.D. degree, and California State Bar admission. Base salary is $120,000-$150,000 plus performance-based bonus. Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in civil litigation in a law firm environment
- Skilled in conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, propounding and responding to discovery, as well as interfacing directly with clients and opposing counsel
- Exceptional communication and advocacy skills
- Client-focused mindset
- Passion for achieving successful outcomes
- Desire and/or ability to manage a caseload independently
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Current admission to the California State Bar
