Job Summary
Represent clients in state and federal courts, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative proceedings while managing litigation matters from inception through resolution. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda; take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts. Advise clients on business, commercial, and real estate disputes and transactions; negotiate settlements and business agreements. Prepare and review corporate governance documents, operating agreements, partnership agreements, and bylaws. Develop legal strategies aligning with clients' business objectives and build strong client relationships within a collaborative team. Requires active California State Bar license, five years of litigation experience, and knowledge of California and Federal court procedures. Hybrid work flexibility based in Calabasas, California.
Required Qualifications
- Active California State Bar license
- 5+ years of litigation experience
- Strong knowledge of California and Federal court procedures
- Excellent legal writing, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Ability to independently manage cases while collaborating effectively with colleagues
- Outstanding communication and client relationship skills
