Job Summary
Manage cases from inception through discovery, trial preparation, and trial. Conduct and defend depositions, prepare motions, discovery responses, and client reports. Assist in trial preparation including strategy, records review, witness preparation, and client interviews. Appear in court to argue substantive motions and participate in settlement conferences, hearings, and trials. Requires 5+ years of litigation practice with experience in commercial business disputes and trial, arbitration, or evidentiary hearings. Ohio law license required. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of litigation based practice
- Ohio law license
- 5+ years of litigation based practice required
- Experience with commercial business dispute matters preferred
- Experience taking and defending depositions
- Superior analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required
- Trial, arbitration, or evidentiary hearing experience
