Job Summary
Provide comprehensive legal representation in bankruptcy and creditors’ rights matters; draft, review, and analyze legal documents including Motions, Claims, and Objections; conduct thorough legal research and offer strategic legal advice to clients; attend hearings and advocate for clients; collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to deliver exceptional service; maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, Court staff, and Trustees.
Required Qualifications
- Bar admission in Virginia, in good standing
- Currently admitted to practice law in Virginia
- 3+ years of bankruptcy experience preferred (debtor or creditor representation) or recent bankruptcy coursework for graduates
