Job Summary
Maintain and supervise a diversified caseload of clients in Georgia while communicating with them regarding their respective matters. Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and agreements, and conduct legal research on contract and consumer law issues. Communicate with opposing parties to resolve or settle claims. This role involves full-time work with a hybrid schedule requiring travel for court appearances, as the firm's headquarters are in New York City and all communication with the main office occurs via telephone and electronic means.
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently admitted to practice law in Georgia
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm
- Must possess superior organizational & time-management skills to meet strict deadlines
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Highest ethical standards and professional integrity
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work easily with senior management and employees at all levels throughout the organization
- Must be willing to take on a heavy workload
- Must be available for travel for in court appearances
Desired Qualifications
- Strong legal research skills -- proficiency in LexisNexis is a plus
