Job Summary
Maintain and supervise a diversified caseload of clients in Arizona while drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and reviewing agreements. Communicate with clients and opposing parties to resolve or settle claims, conducting legal research on contract and consumer law issues. Travel for in-court appearances despite the remote-based schedule. Candidates must be admitted to practice law in Arizona with at least one year of relevant experience, possessing superior organizational skills to meet strict deadlines. This role supports the firm's consumer protection practice, which represents individuals harassed or deceived by creditors and debt collectors.
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently admitted to practice law in Arizona
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm
- Must possess superior organizational & time-management skills to meet strict deadlines
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Highest ethical standards and professional integrity
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work easily with senior management and employees at all levels throughout the organization
- Must be currently located in Arizona to be considered for this role
- Must be available for travel for in court appearances
- Must be available to communicate with the main office exclusively via telephone and electronic means (e-mail, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Strong legal research skills -- proficiency in LexisNexis is a plus
