Job Summary
Provide daily athletic training services for a local Rhode Island high school, including game and practice coverage, emergency action plan development, and coordination of pre-participation physicals. Manage athletic training facility operations, maintain medical records, and establish relationships with team physicians and school staff. Assist physicians with acute orthopedic injuries by applying and removing casts and splints, while performing wound care as needed. Conduct 5 hours weekly in the DME/Orthopedic Technician department, fitting and instructing patients on durable medical equipment, managing inventory, and processing billing collections. Apply prescribed casts and splints, perform wound care, and document patient details for insurance claims. Requires a Bachelor's degree, BOC certification, state licensure, and 2+ years of clinical experience. Must be able to travel to all sites.

- Ability to think quickly and critically under pressure
- Ability to make independent decisions regarding the assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and return to play decisions
- Ability to organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks with little supervision or no supervision
- Must be able to travel to all sites if/when necessary
