Job Summary
Perform detailed audit procedures over various income statement and balance sheet accounts, demonstrating a strong understanding of GAAP to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards. Deliver exceptional client service through timely support while collaborating proactively with key client management to identify issues and recommend practical solutions. Take ownership of assigned tasks by organizing workflows, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion within budget and scope. Utilize technology tools effectively and demonstrate a commitment to process improvement through innovation, while completing Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirements to maintain technical proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- Must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam, meeting the educational requirements as defined by the applicable state board of accountancy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Flexibility to travel for client engagements and internal meetings. Travel may include overnight stays.
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in related field
- 1+ years of relevant audit experience
- Current and valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license
- Experience with Caseware software for financial reporting and audit documentation
