Job Summary

Manage the creation and modification of sophisticated financial models in Argus and Excel to support investment strategies for commercial property portfolios. Coordinate lease NPV analysis, lead cash flow management, and develop capital improvement plans with cost-benefit assessments. Provide guidance to property managers, review operating budgets, and partner with Capital Markets to negotiate loan refinancings. Lead reporting to JV partners, prepare investment memorandums, and conduct due diligence for sale assets. Offer mentorship to analysts while maintaining current knowledge of industry trends and comparable market data. Occasional overnight travel is expected.

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 4 - 8 years' experience as an analyst or senior analyst working for a commercial real estate development or investment firm
  • Experience forecasting and modeling commercial real estate investments with strong working knowledge of fundamental valuation concepts
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Argus experience
  • Knowledgeable on Organizational structures/Documents (LLC Agreements, Partnership Agreements)
  • Knowledgeable on Property Tax Assessment Process
  • Knowledgeable on Partnership Agreement and Structure Management Agreements
  • Knowledgeable on Financing Structures/Loan Documentation
  • Ability to effectively work independently, as well as with others in a collaborative environment and matrix organizational structure
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, prioritize and manage time to effectively meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and quality with a strong focus on customer service and appropriate sense of urgency and good judgment in varied situations
  • Ability to concentrate on tasks, make decisions and work effectively in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to maintain stamina throughout a standard workday, on- and off-site as well as maintain regular attendance during required work hours
