Job Summary
Associate Area Manager or Area Manager sought to drive cardiovascular device sales in the Newport News, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach area. Promote and sell Impella product line to physicians, hospitals, and Heart Teams; create account/territory business plans; exceed sales for the assigned territory; lead clinical teams to drive Impella adoption; develop market in the territory and support patient outcomes through interventional cardiology knowledge, strong sales skills, and leadership in a fast-paced MedTech environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of sales experience with 2+ years in cardiovascular medical device sales (Associate Area Manager) OR minimum 8+ years of sales experience with 5+ years in cardiovascular medical device sales (Area Manager)
- Proven track record of selling into a Cath Lab or surgical suite
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve quotas
- Strong knowledge of interventional cardiology
- Direct patient support experience
- Availability for emergent patient care (taking call)
- Ability to travel up to 50% overnight
