Job Summary
Applied AI/ML Scientist in Market Operations designing, deploying and maintaining AI/ML solutions to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy. Responsibilities include developing advanced ML models for process automation, anomaly detection, document intelligence, and workflow optimization; architecting generative AI applications to automate business processes; building production-grade AI/ML tools; monitoring model performance; analyzing large datasets to identify automation opportunities; collaborating with SMEs to gather requirements and validate solutions; documenting methodologies and keeping up-to-date with AI/ML advancements. Required skills include Python and ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch), MLOps experience, Generative AI/LLMOps, cloud exposure (AWS, GCP, Azure), and strong communication of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred PhD and experience in financial services/Market Operations.
Required Qualifications
- BSc/MSc in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong foundation in AI/ML concepts and practical experience with data analysis, feature engineering, and model development
- Hands-on experience training, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models in production
- Proficiency in Python and relevant AI/ML libraries (such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Experience with MLOps practices and tools for managing the machine learning lifecycle
- Experience building and deploying Generative AI applications, including familiarity with LLMOps
- Exposure to cloud platforms (such as AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in small teams
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders and non-technical audiences
