Job Summary
The Associate Analyst role involves providing fundamental equity research support to senior research analysts within a structured program designed to develop future investment analysts. Responsibilities include building/updating financial models, assisting in quarterly earnings analysis, attending management meetings, conducting industry research, and engaging in thematic deep dives. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, relevant work experience, strong Excel skills, and a passion for equity investing and financial markets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required with a strong academic background
- 1+ years relevant work experience (equity research or investment banking experience preferred)
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills including previous experience building three-statement models
Desired Qualifications
- Highly motivated, confident self-starter, with ability to work independently and collaboratively in a performance-driven environment
- A demonstrated interest and passion for equity investing and financial markets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to derive meaningful insights from in-depth research and analysis
- Progress toward the CFA designation; strong preference for candidates that have successfully completed at least Level 1 of the CFA designation
- Familiarity with Python and AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code or Codex is preferred
