Job Summary
Conduct due diligence activities to assess risks for new partnerships and payments relationships, advising management on proposed engagements. Develop compliance management system materials, including training for fintech partners, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent approaches to regulatory issues. Prepare deliverables for regulatory exams and internal audits while supporting additional areas such as fraud prevention and transaction monitoring. Advise partners on product-related risks and operational controls, establishing clear expectations regarding third-party compliance with laws and bank policies.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years compliance experience supporting a variety of bank products and services
- Bachelors Degree or higher
- Strong practical experience advising product and operational teams on the design and implementation of new banking products
- Demonstrated ability to explain the compliance risks associated with product proposals and advise stakeholders on developing both customer-facing content and key operational controls
- Experience developing the elements of a compliance program, including risk assessment, monitoring and testing planning, third party oversight, and compliance training
- Expertise in laws and regulations governing consumer and commercial financial products, including, but not limited to, TILA/Regulation Z, ECOA/Regulation B, FCRA/Regulation V, SCRA, MLA, EFTA/Regulation E, TISA/Regulation DD, EFAA/Regulation CC, as well as industry best practices
- Experience supporting regulatory exams and audits
- Proven track record showing ability to manage multiple large projects and competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at the non-executive and executive level
- Effective persuasion skills and ability to develop practical solutions that meet business needs while remaining compliant with applicable laws within the Bank's risk tolerance
- Highly motivated, strong attention to detail, team oriented, organized

- CRCM and/or JD a plus
