Job Summary
Associate in Aircraft Financial & Technical Services at Alton Aviation Consultancy in Beijing. You will work as part of the Aircraft Finance and Technical group to gather, analyze, and interpret data to forecast cash flows for aircraft investments, leases, and financings; conduct market research; develop financial models; and contribute to development of company intellectual property. The role involves close collaboration with principals, on-the-job training, and ongoing professional development. Responsibilities include data analysis to forecast leasing, operation, and maintenance cash flows, market research, quantitative and qualitative analyses, and supporting client engagements with emphasis on aviation financing. Requires strong Excel proficiency; VBA and/or Python skills are considered a strong plus; ability to perform under tight deadlines; and effective communication in a multicultural, team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM or a similar discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; programming skills with VBA and/or Python are a strong positive
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Travel: Limited travel is anticipated
