Job Summary
Conduct discovery calls with public sector prospects and existing customers to identify pain points and AI automation opportunities. Partner with Account Managers, BDRs, and AI Value Engineers to qualify leads, progress opportunities through Salesforce, and facilitate workshops and pilot engagements. Collaborate with RevOps and Marketing to refine lead routing and capture customer feedback for product teams. Maintain accurate pipeline activity and opportunity updates while supporting demand generation efforts aligned with the AI GTM strategy.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role such as pre-sales, solution consulting, customer success, sales support, or business development at a software company
- Strong interest in AI, automation, and emerging technologies, with the ability to discuss business value and customer use cases clearly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence speaking to customers and internal stakeholders
- Curiosity and strong discovery skills, including asking thoughtful questions and connecting customer challenges to potential solutions
- Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed go-to-market environment with sales, marketing, and technical teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in managing CRM data and follow-up actions
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
- Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program
- Responsible for ensuring the data privacy of our employees and customers, their data, as well as taking all required privacy training in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies
