Job Summary
Associate Admissions Support Specialist serves as an initial contact for prospective online students, responds to inquiries, links prospects to the right campus, and documents activities to create a positive experience for internal/external customers. Responsibilities include conducting introductory calls, outbound calls, handling inquiries via phone, transferring information to campus, recording activities in the database, setting campus appointments, assisting with marketing testing, and delivering exceptional customer service. Training occurs Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM with subsequent schedule variability including evenings and occasional Saturdays; must be available for evening, day, and weekend hours. Requires ability to work with diverse student populations, strong communication skills, and comfort with using Microsoft Office and database systems.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required. Associate Degree preferred.
- Previous experience in admissions, recruiting, sales or telemarketing a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Working knowledge of computers, database entry and/or Microsoft Office.
