Associate Accounts Receivable Representative

Follow up on patient accounts and insurance claims to ensure accurate accounts receivable reporting and timely payments. Contact insurance companies and third-party payers via email and phone to resolve denials and collect revenue for surgical services. Handle contracted and non-contracted reimbursement issues, including HMO, PPO, EPO, and self-pay accounts, while collaborating with billers and the Business Office Manager on past due accounts. Maintain cash collection metrics and independently resolve second-level reimbursement challenges. This role supports SCA Health's mission to improve healthcare delivery across a network of surgical centers and physician clinics.
