Associate Accountant-Shelbyville, TN

Associate Accountant role in Shelbyville, TN supporting Poultry plants accounting with responsibilities including processing P2P transactions, assisting with the monthly close, performing balance sheet reconciliations, and providing ad hoc management reports. The position interacts with Tyson team members, may back up the plant accountant, and requires 1st shift availability, travel up to about 1 trip annually, and relocation assistance eligibility. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business with 2+ years of accounting experience; proficient Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SAP experience is a plus; strong written and verbal communication and ability to work independently and in a team.
