Job Summary
Apply appropriate accounting and auditing knowledge to workpapers and assignments, ensuring accurate data for client needs. Utilize accounting software to manage client data, tasks, and documentation while gathering samples to prepare workpapers for audits. Verify client-submitted data accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and communicate clarifications or escalate issues as needed. Correct quality control on submitted work, review contracts and leases, and investigate industries to determine areas of interest. Connect with supervisors to determine team and client needs, collaborate across departments, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Participate in recruiting events as a department representative and comply with firm training and productivity guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- Basic proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire
