Job Summary
Own the end-to-end proposal development process across a high-volume, multi-million-dollar book of business, translating client research needs into accurate, tailored proposals that align with budget requirements and strategic goals. Independently manage pricing to ensure competitiveness while partnering with the Account Manager and Business Developer to deliver against shared booking and margin targets. Drive proposal momentum by proactively handling client objections, clarifying requirements, and securing alignment on scope and timelines. Own the sales-to-operations handover by producing clear documentation for the project management team and supporting smooth delivery during fieldwork through rapid issue resolution. Leverage Salesforce to track bids and pipeline activity, while monitoring European region trends to anticipate client needs. Requires 3–5 years of experience in proposal management within healthcare research, strong Excel and Salesforce proficiency, and comfort operating with increasing independence in a remote, global environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in proposal management, account support, or account management within the healthcare research sector (or closely related market research environment)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- ability to work effectively in cross-functional, global teams
- Comfort operating with increasing independence—able to manage multiple concurrent proposals, prioritize effectively, and drive work forward with minimal oversight
- High attention to detail and proven ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Comfortable leveraging AI-enabled tools to streamline workflows, improve response quality, and increase speed without compromising data integrity or customer experience
