Job Summary
Associate Account Manager responsible for expanding the Company’s business within pre-assigned geographic territories, achieving sales goals through acquisition and development of new customers and upselling within these accounts for a minimum of 12 months. Target revenue per prospect is $20K-$40K/year; larger opportunities are transferred to a Regional Account Manager. Activities include prospecting via telephone/video and periodic sales calls, presentations, qualification, proposals, contracts, price increases, cancellations, and renewals; build relationships to grow revenue and profits through service changes, cross-selling, and price increases; coordinate with Operations and Customer Experience; liaise with Accounts Payable for receivables; participate in regional sales meetings; sell in a consultative manner and articulate the value proposition of the Clean Earth brand; create presentations for key prospects; develop sales objectives and territory/account strategies; complete territory forecasts; manage daily calls and identify leads via multiple sources; monitor performance against goals; this is a hunter role with a minimum 12 months farming window to expand deeper into existing accounts; requires Bachelor’s or Associate degree with 1+ years in sales or customer service; preferred knowledge includes regulatory environment (RCRA, DOT, DEA), Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint, and established cross-functional relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sciences, Marketing or Management or Associates degree with 1+ years of experience in environmental
- Minimum of 1 year experience in sales or customer service, or other related field.
