Job Summary
Assume full accountability on team performance including revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence. Oversee the quality and timeliness of team deliverables and direct market research to identify new growth areas for insurance and risk transfer solutions. Manage the business pipeline, nurture client relationships, and select carriers to deliver high-quality product solutions. Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Practice Leader. This hybrid role requires working at least three days a week in the office in Guangzhou or Shenzhen.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above
- 8+ years of experience in insurance broking or broader insurance industry
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English
- Track records in sales or account management
- Questioning & Listening - Know how dialogue with prospects and clients
- Managing projects
- Communications - Influencing, negotiating, presenting effectively, etc.
- Relationship Management - Customer focus, building rapport, dealing with conflict, etc.
- Working at least three days a week in the office
Desired Qualifications
- Strong experience in the China insurance industry
- Knowledge and understanding of corporate insurance program
- Strong network of insurance and relevant industry contacts
