Job Summary
Associate 2 - GTS Run will plan, execute, and validate deployments across Azure cloud and on-prem environments, own end-to-end release execution (deployment package prep, release coordination, post-deployment validation, rollback readiness), and run day-to-day deployment operations focused on stability, performance, and customer experience across UAT and production. Responsibilities include collaborating with Product, Engineering, QA, Security, and Cloud Operations to plan releases, identify risks, and resolve issues; designing, managing, and improving CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps/Git; developing automation with PowerShell and/or Python; implementing release engineering practices (blue/green, canary); maintaining environment parity between UAT and Production; ensuring deployments meet security, access controls, patching, and audit requirements; leveraging AI tools to boost productivity and quality; troubleshooting deployment incidents in real time; improving observability and reducing MTTR while strengthening SLAs/SLOs; creating and maintaining deployment documentation and runbooks; and providing clear stakeholder communication on deployment status, risks, and incidents.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- 2-4 years of experience
- Experience with cloud deployments (Azure) and on-premises environments
- Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Git)
- Automation scripting in PowerShell and/or Python
- Release engineering best practices (blue/green, canary releases)
- Environment parity management (UAT vs Production)
- Security, access controls, patching, configuration management, and audit compliance
- Ability to collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, Security, and Cloud Operations
- Observability and incident troubleshooting to improve MTTR and SLAs
- Documentation and runbook creation for deployment processes
- Stakeholder communication on deployment status and risks
- Experience with Azure and cloud-native tooling
- Knowledge of deployment automation and rollback strategies
- Experience with artifacts/version management
- Ability to design and improve CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with AI tooling to improve productivity and quality
- Strong scripting for automation and operational efficiency
- Knowledge of release coordination and post-deployment validation
- Understanding of change management processes
- Experience with UAT and Production environment parity
- Experience with blue/green and canary deployment strategies
- Experience with security standards and audits
- Experience with environment provisioning and configuration management
- Experience with incident response and rapid recovery
- Familiarity with monitoring/observability tooling
